Jedi Ninjas. {family session}
Oh my word.
Just wait. It gets better.
I needed someone, or some someones, to help me break in a new-to-me-but-old-really chair.
I totally found the right little boys to help me do it.
Then this particular one? He went all wicked Jedi on me.
Oh just wait.
Yeah, baby.
Righteous.
Whew. That’ll almost wear a guy out.
Oh who am I kidding?
We were trying to teach that little one on the right there how to get the good air while leaping. He went for more of a Mariachi style, instead.
So they tried solo. And he got it. And I want to rub his little pale belly; but I do not, for fear of the fierce air-guitar-ninja on the right.
What about my belly? It sort of hurt from laughing.
Aren’t they beautiful?
And their first family picture of the evening. Oh my word. I just can’t stop saying, “Oh my word.” Don’t you just want to squeeze them? This picture makes me happy beyond words.
How gorgeous are they?
I know. Like a 92 on a scale of 1 to 10. I thought the same.
Boy oh boy. Those two little ones…
And then, we realized we’d lost their football. Those are beloved things, you know. It’s still there, somewhere in that tall grass.
But in the middle of the search for said football, that dad jumped out of nowhere and nearly scared the pants of the older one. It was some kind of awesome.
And as the sun dipped below the Rockies, it was time for a little hike back to cars and warmness and a late night snack.
I’ve said it before, and I know I will again…this was one of my favorite shoots.
Big smiles.
