Wow a post two days in a row from me…
Honey, I am not trying to nudge my way in.
So Mary has done a fantastic job of working with Ewan for months on ‘sign language’ so that he can better tell us what he needs wants. The odd thing about it is that his learning how to sign has actually made him ‘talk’ earlier. He now says, hi, Todd Kitty, Mama, Daddy, Dog, Stars, Banana, Please and I am sure that I’m leaving a few out.
Like any parent who says that their baby can talk, I recognize that not everyone will understand his words…but here is a short video of Ewan signing and ‘saying’ please this morning…yes, we’re well aware that it just sounds like SSS SSS SSS – but we’re his parents, we’re allowed to be proud.
