Call it a recharge. You know, that trip that you take as a family that’s a little bit off-the-grid. Out of the way. Up too high in altitude or out too far into the woods to have good wifi.
Those are my favorite.
They’re days filled with board games, leisurely breakfasts in your pjs and favorite socks, and always, always adventures.
He wanted to bring his steering sled. He wanted to go old-school; no aerodynamics to help, just him, the sled, and a wide open trail.
Worth it.
