The Merkels. {family session}
A few years ago, my husband and I watched a building going up in our newly growing town, and that construction was followed by whispers and rumors of a pretty neat little Montessori school. At the time, neither of us knew very much about Montessori, but we liked the building, liked what we were hearing about the two sisters opening the school, and managed to get our little guy on the waiting list.
It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made as parents and we’ve been high-fiving each other ever since.
Fast forward to this past weekend, and I’ve officially been “Merkeled”, a term, I’m sure, used only for the most worthy of us who have had the insane pleasure of spending time with this whole family.
Meet the two who started this whole business.
They have four groovy boys.
And those boys met four incredible women (two of the brothers, in fact, were pretty savvy about marrying two sisters – exponentially increasing the f.u.n. is this family!).
And now, the first grand baby.
Omaword. She had me wrapped in about two seconds flat.
Every girl needs her faithful audience.
Two. Whole. Seconds. I tell you.
But you know what? There’s another one on the way who’s already getting kisses from Aunt Kelly.
I cannot wait to meet that little dude.
Love you guys!
